2021 Special Events!
Coffee n Chrome is held the 2nd Saturday of each month from April through September at Jess Lucas Park 680 S. Central Ave, Hapeville from 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m. A morning "car & motorcycle show" for chrome enthusiasts to get together and show off their antique, classic, or customized vehicles.
Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday March 27th from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Tom E. Morris Sports Complex. Free to the community! Plenty of parking at the baseball fields.
Hapeville Opening Day: On April 17th, The Community Parade begins at 11 a.m. off Clair Drive with circling around to N. Fulton Ave and N. Fulton. Games for baseball, Softball and T-Ball will take place by the baseball fields off Claire Drive from beginning at 12 p.m.
La Fiesta el Hapeville will be celebrated on Saturday May 22nd, at Jess Lucas Park 680 S. Central Ave, Hapeville from 6 p.m.- 10 p.m. Join us for food, music and much more!
Memorial Day Service Monday May 31st, Please join us at the Hoyt Smith Center as we honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the United States Military.
Movies Under the Stars! Join us for this family friendly outdoor movie night on June 18th, Raya and the Last Dragon and July 16th, Tom & Jerry. Please remember to bring your lawn chair or blanket. The activities begin at 7:30 p.m. and the movie at dusk.
Jazz and Seafood! Join us Saturday July 17th, for a night of live jazz at the park. Jess Lucas Park from 6-10 p.m.
Downtown Live Concert Series!
Downtown Hapeville comes alive at Jess Lucas Y-teen Park. This series features live music from local bands and a variety of food vendors. Free admission and parking. Hapeville Happy Days Weekend September 17th & 18th
Friday, September 17th: Alumni Bands Perform from 7 p.m.-11 p.m at Jess Lucas Park.
Saturday, September 18th: join us at Jess Lucas Park for more live music as we commemorate Hapeville’s 130th year! Happy Days will be fun for all ages. Free admission and parking.

Holidays in Hapeville: Tuesday, November 23rd. Please join us at Jess Lucas Y-teen Park for our traditional Mayoral Tree Lighting Event!
5:30 p.m. Visits with Santa, Games, and snow.
7 p.m. Non-Denominational Thanksgiving Community Service Hapeville United Methodist Church
8 p.m. Academy Theater will lead us in song while Mayor Hallman and Santa (who will ride in by Firetruck) to light the Christmas tree. Free admission and parking.
Sponsorship opportunities are available throughout the year for City sponsored Special Events. Please review the Sponsorship application to determine which events and what level of sponsorship best fit your organization’s promotional needs.
Note: Events may be cancelled due to inclement weather or in consideration of governmental recommendations regarding COVID-19. Please continue to check the website for updates before attending the event. We do ask for families to continue to wear their mask while moving around the park and practice social distancing during the event.
