REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
Accepting Bids for service to upgrade the City of Hapeville’s GEO Base.
The City of Hapeville is interested in obtaining bid proposals for upgrading and maintaining the City of Hapeville’s GEO Base / Geographic Information System (GIS). The City of Hapeville operates ARC View software for zoning and Spillman Computer Aided Dispatch software for police and fire services. Request for Information (RFI’s) regarding the RFP shall be directed to Chief Rick Glavosek, Chief of Police at rglavosek@hapeville.org. In the event of any additions, deletions, or changes to the RFP, the City will notify each Company who has provided proper contact information. All communication shall be communicated in writing. All proposals must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2011. All proposals must be sealed and shall be opened in a meeting which will be open to the public, at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2011 in the courtroom at the Police Department located at 700 Doug Davis Drive Hapeville, Georgia, 30354.
Preferential consideration will be given to services that have both ARC GIS and Spillman software experience.
The City of Hapeville reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive any informality, and to accept any proposals which in its opinion may be in the best interest of the City of Hapeville. The award, if made, shall be made to the bidder whose proposal is determined to be more advantageous to the City, taking into consideration price and the evaluation of factors set forth in the RFP and may be made on the basis of the initial proposal. Once the City of Hapeville determines the successful bidder, the City reserves the right to negotiate the terms and conditions of the specific proposal to reach a final contract.
