Google Considers Hapeville for Fiber Network Build-out

Google is currently exploring Hapeville for a super-fast fiber optic Internet and television service network. Approximately three dozen cities nationwide have been selected, among them nine are located in metro-Atlanta. Regionally, these cities include: Atlanta, Avondale Estates, Brookhaven, College Park, Decatur, East Point, Hapeville, Sandy Springs and Smyrna. Google's service, a residential service business model, was initially launched in Austin, TX, Kansas City, MO. and Provo, UT. Residents in those cities enjoy the Google Fiber service which runs 100 times the speed of internet competitors. The City will continue to announce further details in the future as they are readily available, so check back for details!
