The Happy Days festival will take place on Saturday (11a.m. to 5 p.m.) in Jess Lucas Y-Teen Park downtown
We are excited to offer the community a year of special events celebrating Hapeville’s 125th. The celebration will begin this Friday Sept. 16 at Downtown Live. The Hapeville Alumni bands will kick off the celebration featuring Darwin Conort in Mantra from 7-9 pm and featuring Jimmy Lovern in Spectrum from 9-11pm. During this evening Hapeville H.S. Class of 88 will have their reunion and many other Hapeville alumni will attend. The Hapeville Depot will open for tours from 5pm-9pm. The museum will be introducing the “Hapeville Stars” project on exhibit. The Welcome Center gallery is hosting a show of photographs taken by Hapeville HS graduate and portrait photographer, J.J. Allen. The City table will have drawings throughout the evening with donations given from our art vendors who will be at the festival on Saturday. The winner will return on Saturday and pick up their gift from that vendor. Make sure you come by the City table to put your name in the jar.
