Request for Proposals for Multi-Function Printer/Copier Equipment Lease

The City of Hapeville’s Administration Department invites qualified vendors to submit written proposals to provide multi-function color copier/printer equipment and maintenance service to the City.

If interested in this opportunity, five (5) printed copies of the proposal must be received. Proposals MUST be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “RFP #20181114PC – Printer/Copier” and addressed as follows:  Attn: City Clerk, City of Hapeville, 3468 N Fulton Avenue, Hapeville, GA 30354. Deadline for bid proposals will be Friday, December 14, 2018 at 4:00 PM local time. All questions must be submitted via email to no later than 72 hours prior to the bid opening.

Request for Proposals LCI Initiative Investment Policy Studies

The City of Hapeville (the City) invites interested firms or qualified individuals to submit written proposals for the Livable Centers Initiative Investment Policy Studies for the Wayfinding and Virginia Avenue Roundabout Study and Demonstration Project.

If interested in this opportunity, 12 printed copies of the proposal (1 original, 11 copies) must be received. Proposals MUST be clearly marked “LCI Policy Studies” and addressed as follows: City of Hapeville, Attn: Planning & Development Coordinator, City of Hapeville, 3468 N Fulton Avenue, Hapeville, GA 30354. Emailed responses or other forms of electronic communication and other responses to this Request for Proposals will NOT be accepted. The contract is contingent upon receipt of funding. Components/evaluation criteria for the proposals

 

Please include the following information in the proposals

  • Firm Qualifications
    • Firm and subcontractor information
    • Three similar projects
    • Three professional references
    • Key team personnel and bios
  • Approach to Project
    • Project management methodology
    • Description how your firm will approach each task
    • Project schedule
    • Project deliverables
    • Public engagement strategy
  • Project Fee
    • All proposals should include a fee broken down by task.  The fee does not need to be submitted separate from the proposal.  The budget for the project is $87,500.
  • There are no maximum pages for the proposal.
  • Proposals may be single or double sided.
  • There is no DBE goal.
  • The study should be completed no later than June 2019.                                                                                                                                                                                                   
For the roundabout demonstration project:

    • Has an intersection been identified?  A typical roundabout footprint can be bigger than the existing intersection.
      • The Virginia Avenue/Doug Davis Intersection is the proposed location
    • Scope item, Task 2, states “the City will install a demonstration project at an intersection” and “the City may install and demonstrate a complete street”. Please confirm the city will be perform these services outside of the consultant’s contact.
      • This is part of the Consultant's responsibility.  It is a temporary demonstration project.  
    • Will the City provide at no cost to the study the resources for the installation and removal of the infrastructure to create the roundabout?
      • This is a temporary demonstration project.  The City can provide cones or existing materials to help establish the boundary of the roundabout.  Any additional materials would be the responsibility of the Consultant.  
    • Will the City provide at no cost to the study the police for traffic control to install and remove the infrastructure to create the roundabout?  
      • The City can provide 8 hours of police traffic control.  Any additional time would be the responsibility of the Consultant.
    • Will the City coordinate and obtain a PI Number from GDOT so that components of the draft Concept Report can have input and then review from the State?
      • Yes, the City will work with GDOT for a PI number.
    • Will Hapeville provide the GIS data for the study area?
      • The City will share all GIS data it currently has.
