Chief Richard M. Glavosek would like to welcome you to the The City of Hapeville Police Department website.Chief Glavosek was appointed to serve this city as Chief of Police by Mayor and Council at the City Council Meeting held on June 5, 2007.We are dedicated to providing outstanding professional services and to the responsibility of serving and protecting all who live, work and travel through our City.

As a progressive department, we are responsive to social, geographical and economical changes within our community. We recognize the value of cultural diversity and will treat each person with courtesy, respect and dignity as we work to reduce crime and create a safe environment. P.D. Open House: Letter from the Chief
To all Residents and Business Owners,
           I wish to take this time to reach out and send my deepest thanks for your response on June 9th at our Police Department Open House & Community Meeting. As we presented the many facets of public safety to all of you, you informed us of your concerns, needs and your sincere desire to work with the Police Department as “eyes and ears” of the community.
